Colby’s Makeover Part 1

A vitally important update

Colby got a makeover, and I thought I’d better show everyone to avoid confusion later.

You’d think a single photo labeled “Colby” and showing someone wearing cheese on his head would suffice, but you’d be wrong.

(Pet favorite…don’t tell the others…)

First a quick reminder of what he used to look like.

Left to right:  Colby, pretending he doesn’t know what Crazy Larry is talking about.

Crazy Larry, responsible for Colby meeting Francis J.

Francis J. Worthington III - of “that” Worthington family.  Stopped putting blue streaks in his hair after college.  Wanted the more conservative “long shaggy hair with heavy make-up” look.

A random stranger “accidentally” links arms with Mr. Big.

Ex-postal carrier Dagmar thinking about bed.  She can’t marry Crazy Larry until his six adopted children go to college.  Because she’s not Crazy Dagmar.

On to the makeover!  Colby is doing it himself, despite the fact that Dolby, Gypsy, and Tripsy all own salons.  Or maybe because of that.

Like so many people, Colby finds that his wavy hair is much longer when straightened.  He’s also chosen to wear the laurel wreath of younger brotherhood.

Colby:  That is exactly the look I was going for!

Broden:  All right!  Finally!

It’s nice to have the support of your family.

Delia:  Halleluiah!

But really, they don’t have to be quite so enthusiastic.

First a nice formal, then something for everyday.  He has to squint, because he’s not wearing his glasses.  They’re not part of his new “look.”

Uh, what’s happening out here?  That’s Tracy.  She and Broden have a crush on each other, but now she seems upset.

Tracy:  I don’t like that you live with your sister.  I’m afraid she has too much influence on you.

Tracy:  Broden, are you listening to me?

Broden:  Who is that, and what is he doing in my house?

Colby’s going to get tired of hearing that.

Colby:  The gloves make it easier for everyone to see my enormous engagement ring, but there’s still something missing.

Colby:  All better.
