Dream Dates

Part 1

Default clothing and hair is rampant in Pleasantview.  Dolby and Gypsy have been around a while, about the equivalent of 600 sim years.  They have plenty of simoleans, and they decide it's time to give something back.

They start a little salon in their home.  Time for the townies to lavish themselves with custom content!

(Psst...don't say anything, but Dolby has default hair and clothes.  Snicker.)

Dolby gives a makeover to this nice Secret Society member who wandered into his clutches.  Er, dropped by for a friendly visit.

It doesn’t turn out quite how he wants, but he earns a cosmetology badge.  Way to go Dolby!

Since he was also a Secret Society member he gives her another makeover for free.  And another.  Three makeovers in a row turn out exactly the same.  He asks Gypsy to help, and he gives the poor girl another makeover.

It turns out exactly the same.

After this, Dolby makes a strict policy:  There are no mistakes.

Everything they do is intentional.  Everything.  No do-overs.

Not everyone is happy with this policy.

Little girl:  You gave me wings.  That’s not even physically possible!

There are other issues with the business as well.  Tripsy decides to clean up.

Potential customer:  What in the world?

So they buy Dream Dates.  It’s  pink and pointy and simply perfect.  Now they can give townies bad makeovers, and send them on bad dates.

Er, um, leave the word “bad” out of that.  Twice.  You know what I mean.

Dolby enters, wondering why a dainty pink building has such enormous doors.  It makes him feel intimidated.

Once inside he feels better.  He starts off strong.  He promises this man a terrific new look.

A few snips…

Yes, that’s one happy customer.  He tips Dolby a million billion dollars.

Now to the real attraction of Dream Dates.  Using the latest hacked technology, they help you find your perfect mate.

They cut out all the nonsense about getting a blind date from a gypsy.  Instead you get a blind date from Gypsy.

Er, um, anyway…
