What has happened before : the newcomers start to settle into a
repetitive cycle, sent slightly out of sync with the arrival of
Professor Oak and Ryoga. Meanwhile, Happosai and Jessie unleashed the
Demon Pokemon, Missingno.

Episode 5 : Opening Moves

Meowth skidded to a halt, his chest heaving from fear and lack of air
running through his little lungs. He gasped for air as he collapsed to
his knees, heaving, his breathing raspy. Meowth coughed violently as he
shook the sweat from his whiskers. "Tho-those..maniacs..." he gasped out
while shaking from fear. "They released the Demon, Missingno..." he
shook as he clutched the pair of Pokeballs in his hand that held
Lickatung and Arbok. Expanding them, he released the Pokemon with
flashes of red light.

<<What's going on? Where's Jessie?>>

Lickatung nodded. <<Jessie is the one we only obey.>>

Meowth sat down and the snake and..whatever, sat down with him. "Guys,
Jessie is now no longer herself. She hooked up with the Dark Master,
Happosai."

<<Happosai? I heard of him. Is he still alive?>>

"Meowth. He's still alive. My great grandpappy told me about him,
Meowth. And this is the clincher; he and Jessie released Missingno."

<<WHAT?!>> Lickatung screeched. <<Don't they realize the danger by
working with Missingno?! That Demon can suck their energy away, leaving
mindless drones! You do realize that someone infused with Missingno's
energy will become stronger than anyone on the face of the planet!>>

Meowth nodded. "Meowth. I know. Meowth, we gotta do something!" An idea
came to him. "Say, what about the brats?"

<<Perhaps. Lets get back to the city.>> Arbok turned around and started
to slither away, Lickatung and Meowth following behind.

<><><>

It was dark in the room. Akane looked about, her temper rising. As she
was about to cause HEAVY DAMAGE, the room burst into flames. Then, there
it was in front of them. Jusenkyo.

There was Ranma-kun, in front of the drown girl spring. She saw Ranma's
reflection in the pool. It was Ranma-chan. Suddenly black lightning
struck the pools and Ranma-Kun. An explosion followed. A golden glow
blinded Akane's sight as someone's hand fell on her shoulders. AS she
turned she saw Ash, glowing a brilliant golden light, and with a barely
audible shout over the screaming winds, he morphed into a tall whitish
man, a metal helmet on his head, bright white wings, and a staff. Then
overhead a large mass of darkness started engulfing them. Askane
started screaming.

<><><>

Akane bolted straight up in her bed, screaming loud enough to wake the
dead. "That's it," she gasped, "no more anime before bedtime."

In a flash, the others dashed in, Ranma at the fore of the group.
"Akane, what's wrong?!"

Akane gasped, her heartbeat calming slightly. "Nothing. Just a bad
dream."

Soun bawled. "OH MY POOR LITTLE AKANE! SHE'S SUFFERING FROM A TERRIBLE
NIGHTMARE! WAAAAA!"

Pikachu opened a small umbrella from atop Ash's head. "Pikah."

Ranma shook his head and left the room amidst the crying, the grunting
of the panda, two Pokemon talking and the tapping of a calculator. Upon
reaching the room, Ryoga sat there, waiting for him. "Ryoga? When did
you get here?"

"A few minutes ago. Quiet, Bulbasaur's sleeping."

"A pokemon?" Ranma hazarded.

"Yeah. Professor Oak is staying over at 'bassans place."

"The old hag?" Ranma asked. "What does he have in common
with the bat?"

Ryoga whapped his semi archrival/friend over the head. "Don't call
bassan a old hag! She's one of the oldest Pokemon Grand Masters of the
League! She and Professor Oak go way back."

"No kidding eh? Wonder if she's got a Pokemon for me?"

"Ranma," Ryoga frowned, "Only with hard work and care can someone be
worthy enough to raise a Pokemon properly. Now I'm not saying that
you're not worthy enough but you just don't know how to handle Pokemon!"

"And you're any better?" Ranma shot back.

"Yes I AM." Ryoga jiggled a pouch with two Pokeballs. I have a Mankey
and Pidgiot in these. I've been taking care of them for a only a few
days and I love these guys like their my family. Ranma, a Pokemon is a
special thing not to be taken lightly. If you don't train it, it will
not listen, obey, or even respect you. For that, I think that you're not
good enough for one."

In those moments of speech, Ranma saw a sparkle of intelligence that he
had never expected from Ryoga. A type of seriousness that someone of his
caliber could not fathom in many years of rationality or reason.
"Ryoga..." he whispered inaudibly. His face then turned serious and he
nodded, "I understand."

"Good that we agree. Say, did you let your father out of the ball yet?"

A panda shuffled beside the pair and whapped his son on the head with a
magical wooden sign. <<Baka Boy,>> it read.

"That answer your question?" he deadpanned.

<><><>

Now normally, we would interject a sequence in which the Ranma crew
would go off and fight something or someone, or something bad would
happen to Ash and crew, or Team Rocket or some other psycho with a
totally weird martial art would appear.

But today, it was about...normal. Almost.

The day started off like any other, Ranma dunking Genma into the Koi
pond, the pair fighting over breakfast, the morning mallet and trans-air
flight, and finally, Misty arguing with Shampoo as soon as she appeared.
Truth to be told, Cologne had strictly forbidden Shampoo to take any
action against the Water Trainer. Something about the Professor staying
with them. Ryoga was, this time for once, not lost, finding it easier to
locate his home. In fact, due to the theory of Murphy's Law, he found
his parents there as well, chatting with Akari Unyru who had found his
home with her sumo pig.

The rest of the morning was about normal, and Ash, predictably, got
bored.

"Anyone want to battle?" he asked the sky around him.

Brock shook his head. "Naw. It's too good a day to do that."

"Pika!" Pikachu was in his little red and white inner-tube, floating in
the Koi pond, Horsea and Psyduck relaxing along with him. Several of
Ash's Pokemon were playing tag or sleeping, Brock was brushing Vulpix,
and all of Misty's water Pokemon were playing with the hose,
occasionally
hosing down the Panda who grumbled and sent a paw at them lazily.

Pikachu lowered his shades and sipped at his iced tea happily while
chatting with the other Pokemon. Pikachu commented about Genma and the
Pokemon laughed. Genma turned about and growfed at them derisively.

Brock laid back in the sun, having taken off his shirt from the warm
heat. "Man, there's absolutely nothing to do! I almost wish something
would happen."

"I agree." Ash wiped his forehead of sweat and took his jacket off. "I
guess when we're on the road, we don't notice it much."

"Tokei, tokei!" Togepi agreed with Ash.

James then came outside, shedding his jacket with the familiar red R on
the front and his long gloves. "There's nothing to do," he whined
quietly.

Ash suddenly stood up. "I'm going to Ucchan's for a bite, who wants to
come along with me?"

<><><>

"Welcome to...Oh, Ash! Welcome!" Ash sat down on the stool in front of
the Okonomiyaki bar as Ukyou flipped a Okonomiyaki with a spatula. "The
usual Ashy?"

"Mmm, make it a double."

As the food cooked, Ash stole a glance about the place. "Gee, sure is a
slow day. Where's Konatsu?"

"Ko-chan is gone for the day. Some sort of obscure Ninja ritual."

The food was set before him and Ash handed her some money. "Here, I'll
pay my tab before we leave for Pokemon Island."

Ukyou took the money and placed it in the register. She quickly cooked
up a Okonomiyaki for herself and sat down beside him. She ate in silence
before Ukyou turned to him. "Ashy, lets go out tonight, ne?"

Ash nearly dropped his chopsticks in shock. "What? Why?"

Ukyou shrugged. "It's such a slow day, that maybe we could go out for a
movie and dinner. Sound fair?"

Ash patted his pockets a few times before pulling out a wad of yen.
"Gee,
I don't think I have much..."

Ukyou waved it off. "We'll go dutch. Just as a friendly outing, okay?"

Ash considered it before nodding. "Okay. Tonight at seven?"

"Sure Ashy! Oh, and you can have your money back. Ucchan's is free for
you."

Ash received his money and thanked her before exiting the restaurant. He
looked at the money in his hand, her proposal ringing in his ears. A
date? Well, why not?

<><><>

Brock wandered the streets of Nerima, his hands shoved into his pockets.
It was still a warm day and he had shed his green vest and changed his
brown shirt for a white one.

Every so often, he would slip into a store for its air-conditioning
before stopping at the Nekohanten. His stomach rumbled in agreement.
"Nekohanten it is," he murmured to himself.

Inside, Brock was given a rare opportunity. Shampoo, who usually dressed
in a overly small dress, was dressed in a pair of tight brown shorts
with a blue sleeveless top. She looked a bit unhappy that she was
wearing the clothes but took it in stride. "Welcome to Nekohanten
Brock," she chirped a bit sadly. "What you have?"

"The usual."

Shampoo scattered into the kitchen and returned quickly with two bowls
of the Ramen. She placed one before him and sat down with the other.
"How Brock today?"

Brock looked up from his food. "Bored. Say Shampoo, why are you wearing
normal clothes?"

Shampoo pouted. "Hibachan say Customers be too lecherous. Is not
appropriate for Japan culture. No understand."

"Well, your normal clothing is kinda indecent if you know what I mean.
Say Shampoo, what'cha doing tonight anyhow?"

Shampoo pouted. "Shampoo stay home, Hiibachan off with Oak for tonight."

"Wanna go out?" he asked with typical nervous flair.

Shampoo blinked. "Brock ask Shampoo out?" she said slowly.

Brock nodded. 'I'm dead,' he thought quietly.

"Sure!"

Brock fell over in his chair as Mousse jumped into the scene. "Shampoo!"
he howled pitifully, "why are you going out with him?"

"Silly Mousse," she chided non too gently while hitting the nearly blind
Arts Master on the head, "Is friendly outing! Besides, only love Ranma."

Brock pushed that aside, (after all, this WAS a friendly outing), and
said, "Tonight at seven?"

Shampoo nodded cutely and said, "Ramen is on house."

<><><>

Seymour the Scientist checked his scanners. "Strange, Clefairy," he
addressed his little Pokemon, "check the island scanners. Something is
changing the weather with Psychic energy."

"Clefairy!" it cooed and checked the scanners. After reading it for a
second, it started to panic. "CLEFAIRY! CLE! FAIRY FAIRY!"

"Clefairy? What's the matt...AHHH!"

Seymour gasped as his alarms started to blare. Dark Null Psychic
Energies. Something he wished that wouldn't encounter after that
terrible day when he was just six years old.

"Clefairy, get Officer Jenny on the horn."

<><><>

Happosai grinned maliciously as dark energies fed his power to an
incredible high. No more he would need women's panties and bras, now, he
was BACK!

Evil Laugh # 345 occurred.

Jessie's face split into a evil grin. "Master," she said in a
sufficiently spooky voice, "Let Us Head To Giovanni's Temple. There Is A
Pokemon That I Need To Obtain For Total Domination Of The Pokeworld."

Her evil master nodded and in an instant, and a flash of null energy,
they disappeared from the cave.

<><><>

"Ayia... Brock, do you feel something?"

Brock had to admit that the hairs on his neck were stiff, and he looked
about wildly. "There's something wrong... I don't get it but can feel
danger from under the earth..."

"Is potential to become Rock Master," Shampoo said. "Hibachan said so.
Misty, Water Master. Is lifeborn element."

"What about Ash?"

Shampoo shook her head. "Shampoo no know what Ash is. Hibachan say that
Ash have strange aura..."

"I wonder... how about Ranma?"

Shampoo was a bit surprised, but held her posture. "Ranma... Hibachan
tell Shampoo that Ranma is Chaos."

<><><>

Misty stopped short on her path towards the nice little Mama-san's Cafe.
Something in the elemental power of water was making her hair stand on
end. Something was wrong. Pikachu and Togepi in her arms also stiffened
as Pikachu gave a warning, "Pikah.."

<><><>

Ukyou stiffened. Ash did too.

"Something's wrong." Ukyou said.

"I agree."

<><><>

Giovanni looked over his monstrous creation. For nearly fifteen years,
this was the heart of the Team Rocket Syndicate, ruling this little
Dimension. Oh he knew that Pokemon Island was actually a massive Pocket
Dimension. During his old Pokemon Travels, he traveled to Japan. No one
there knew of Pokemon. Thus, Okinawa was actually a border between the
Pokeworld and the Earth itself.

As he looked over the monstrous Mewtwo, clad in armor, he felt a
satisfaction rise in his breast. Those Incompetents were off chasing
Pikachu in Japan, and that meddling Oak was gone as well, visiting that
old bag, Khu Lon.

Suddenly, the wall exploded among debris and ringing klaxons. Dozens of
Rocket Grunts armed with Pokeballs ran into the room.

As the smoke cleared, Giovanni scowled. "Jessie. I said I don't want to
see you again. And what an rude entrance."

Jessie opened her eyes and they glowed and unearthly red. Giovanni
backed up a bit before saying, "Rockets! Attack!"

"Flareon, GO! Use Fire Spin!"

"Arcanine, Fire Blast!"

"Graveller, Rock Throw!"

"Electrode, Thunderbolt!"

"Vaporeon, Ice Beam!"

The multitude of attacks arced its way towards the female Team Rocket
Member. Suddenly, a foot in front of her, the attacks detonated, sending
up a dust cloud.

As they choked on the dust, a female scream pierced the room and a
howling sound echoed in the room. "FORBIDDEN FIRE SPIN!"

A wave of black flame coursed down the ranks, scattering grunts every
which way. Giovanni was knocked into the wall as the flames impacted on
his side. Jessie stepped into the clearing dust, and waved her hand. In
an instant, the cables holding the monstrous Mewtwo snapped and its eyes
lit up, glowing blue.

"Mewtwo, I am your Master now," she snarled viciously.

The psychic pokemon broke the glass in the now burning lab and stepped
out. In a growl, it asked, "You are not human."

"I am Forbidden." she answered darkly.

"I see. I will help you, if you help me find Mew."

"Mew is in the possession of League Master Nadoka Saotome."

After the brief exchange, they disappeared.

Giovanni looked up from his spot on the floor. "Forbidden?" he breathed
before passing out.

Closing Credits and Theme : The Time Has Come

I close my eyes
And I can see
The day we met
(A scene of Ash picking up a Pokeball and Pikachu escaping from its
inside. He picks up Pikachu and he zaps him.)

Just one moment and I knew
You're my best friend
'Do anything
For you
(A scene of Ash meeting Misty, Brock throwing a pokeball, and Ash
looking upwards, the camera panning backwards, into the sky.)

We've gone so far
And done so much
And I feel
Like we've always been together
(Scenes of Ash running along a beach, Misty, Brock and Pikachu trailing
along in the setting sunlight. A still photo of Ranma sitting atop a
cliff, that fades from brown and white tones to a full color picture,
his pigtail swinging in the wind. A constellation draws itself out on
the sky, Sagittarius the Archer. A shooting star arcs across the sky.)

Right by my side
Through thick and thin
You're the part of my life
I'll always remember
(A shot of Pikachu waving to the sky, his eyes glistening with tears,
Pidgeotto carrying Ryoga away. A shot of Ash's shadowed face, a stream
of tears dripping from his eyes. Ranma gathering Akane in his arms,
Ukyou wrapping a consolidating arm about Brock's shoulder. Ash sitting
down in the grass, Misty leaning on his shoulder, his jacket wrapped
about her shoulders.)

The time has come,
It's for the best I know it
Who could have guessed that you and I...
(Ash's face, haloed in a corona of light, Misty holding onto his
fingertips. He smiles at her, as the light brightens to a blinding view
and she collapses on the ground, sobbing.)

Somehow, someday,
We'd have to say goodbye
Somehow today...
...we have to say goodbye.
(Fade out.)

(A Magic Tech Production. A Shaun Garin Story.)

Betcha didn't see that one coming?

I mean, having Jessie and Happosai truely evil, and they are joining up
with a evil Pokemon. If you don't know, Mewtwo is evil. And another
thing, I'm ignoring everything after they split up with Snap, and
ignoring everything else. That means, they don't meet up with Ash's
mother later, or fight the Elite Four, or Meet Bruno, or a hundred other
things. This is taking a totally different direction from the Anime.

For those Jessie enthusiasts, I have something planned for her. But just
to clear up everything, I don't hate her, just love to put Team Rocket
in bizzare situations. But to those other people, I only hate Happosai
and Genma. After all, who can't hate those two bakas?
