What has happened before: Kari is rescued by the digigang. But Myotismon blasts an attack that leaves the Digimon unable to digivolve. Tai is revealed to be Ash's father, and Sora and the others reveal themselves to be the Digidestined. Ash finally enters the league. Upon meeting Richie, a set of Digivices falls upon Ranma, Tracy, Ash, James, Misty, Brock, and Richie. They reveal themselves to be a set of morpher-esque devices, as they use it to gain new powers and fight off the evil Digimon who attacked after Ash's first match. Wizardmon arrives to warn the team about the Black Disc. Opening Theme: Pokemon 152 - ? 2000 Opening Theme So you wanna be a master of Pokemon? You got the skills to be number one? A Pokemon, Ranma 1/2 and Digimon Fan Fiction Developed for the new Millennium Pokemon 152 - ? 2000 written by Shaun Garin revised by WarChild based on an idea by Kahlil Noriega written with the authors permission Episode 12 : The Crest of Friendship "It's cold." *No kidding, it's Antarctica.* Jessie glared at her companion before heading over to the large ice mountain before them. Holding her hand out to the flat gleaming surface, it glowed red before sliding open to reveal a large cavern behind the ice wall. "Its open. Come on." The pair walked into the room, and the door closed behind them. <><><> "Wizardmon, are you okay? Please wake up." The Wizard Digimon stirred and opened his eyes to focus on Kari and Gatomon looking down on him, concerned. "Kari. Gatomon." He sat up and looked around. "Tai, Sora. It is good to see you all again. And my have you grown." "It's been Twenty years Wizardmon," Kari said, supporting him. "Wizardmon, how did you find us?" Gatomon asked. "And why are all the bad Digimon back?" Wizardmon looked contemplative for a long second. "It is a long story...." <><><> Remember the battle between the Digimon Emperor and the new Digidestined? Well, always ambitious, he decided to bring out new, more powerful Digimon to make his slaves. Well, due to a miscast Digispell, he activated a spell that would recreate the most powerful Evil Digimon. The tendrils of powers went back and back in time, recreating the Evil Digmon into this world. Devimon. Etemon. Myotismon. Puppetmon. Metalseadramon. Mechadramon. And Piedmon. The spell then affixed itself to a certain point in time, which, coincidentally was this year. Digimon, good and bad alike, were sucked into the Real World like a vacuum. Here, the Evil Digimon hid away, waiting and building energy so that one day, they could conquer the earth. But, they had learned from their mistakes, as they sought out the most powerful sources of energy in the area of Japan. Then, one day, Demidevimon, Devimon's brother, discovered a lost text about a powerful monster, sealed away in a Black Disc. The texts spoke of the near destruction of the world, as the Disc would be unleashed. But, thanks to another disc, the monster would be defeated once again, and sealed within the Disc, and buried in the cold nether regions of the ice caps. <><><> Wizardmon gratefully accepted the painkillers offered to him by Kari and gulped them down. "I have to stop them from gaining control of the disc." "No, you're going to rest Wizardmon, and that's an order," Gatomon said fiercely. Wizardmon raised an eyebrow in curiousity. "Since when did you become my Digimommy?" Gatomon narrowed her eyes as she pushed the male Digimon down on the couch. "Since I was your friend Wizardmon," she said. "Now get some rest." Wizardmon chuckled. "Yes mother." He soon fell into a light doze which gradually turned into a deep slumber. <><><> "Hey Ranma?" "Mmph..." "Are you asleep?" "I was..." came the sleepy reply, "Until you started blabbing." "Sorry, I can't sleep. Kept thinking about what would have happened if we were a second too late." "Don't worry about it," came the reply, "what's done is done. There's no thinking about the past. Get some rest man." "Right. Night Ranma." "Night Ash." <><><> Two days and two battles later... "It's a beautiful day here in Indigo Plateau, and the match is about to begin!" The Announcer warily cast his glance around the area for dangerous Digimon as he took a sip of water. "In the Green Trainer box on the Grass Field is Newcomer Ash Ketchum!" "Yay Ash!" Cheered his friends. "And The Red Trainer!" The large doors at the back of the arena swung open to reveal a stunning girl in a red and purple Kimono. "Jenette Fisher!" "I am Honored," she said, bowing humbly. "She doesn't look so tough," Brock observed. "You never know," Tracy put in. "This is the fourth round! Let the Battle begin!" Just then, Jenette's Cheering Squad went into full gear as Ash tightened his gloves and pulled out his first Pokemon. <><><> "You did good Ash," Professor Oak said. "Using Muk was a stroke of genius!" "I don't know what's more surprising, Ash winning or Ash actually thinking ahead," Misty commented. "Hey Ash!" Richie then jogged up, his customary backpack on his back. "I watched the whole thing! Great battle!" "Aw, it was nothing." "There goes the Ketchum Ego," Misty said, casting glances at both Ranma and Ash who found an immediate interest in their fingernails. "Why don't we go out and celebrate?" Tracy said, tucking his sketchbook under his arm. "I know this great resturant in the middle of the Plateau." "Great!" Ash crowed, "And its on me because everyone in the League eats for FREE!" <><><> "Zer is not enough food!" The head cook said, sweatdropping. Ash and Co were sitting around the biggest table they had, three of them turning this into a Slayers-type eating contest, with Ranma and Ash sparring over the food, James eating like there was no tomorrow, and Brock and Misty eating at Amelia pace, having picked it up during their stay at the Tendo's. The adults, Tai, Sora and Kari were watching in trepidation, hesitant to reach for food in case their hands were swept up in the frenzied eating battle. Tracy and Richie who had joined them, just watched, having eaten ahead wisely. "Are...are they always like this?" Richie asked, a huge sweatdrop hanging down his forehead. "It's like a scene from out of an anime...which one was it?" Tracy snapped his fingers in realization. "Slayers!" "Hah! But it doesn't match, no redhead save for Misty and she's not eating fast enough," Richie countered. "That's easily arranged," Brock said, not stopping his stride as he picked up his water glass and splashed Ranma, who, likewise, didn't stop as she ate in a manner so similar to Lina Inverse, was freaky. The five not eating like maniacs jaws dropped as Tai managed, "Wha...?" "Jusenkyo Curse," Ranma said, inhaling his mug of root beer. "Ah, Jusenkyo!" Tracy opened his sketchbook and flipped to a drawing of a place with ponds and poles. "The Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo. I listened to the Guide and stayed a LONG way away from it as I drew." "That's Jusenkyo?" Sora asked, looking at it. "What does it do?" "The local villagers said it inflicts a water based curse upon one who takes a swim in the pool." "Hot water changes me back," Ranma said, having finished her dinner. "It's one of those things I don't mind anymore but don't really enjoy." "At least you're a cute girl," Kari said and Ranma stiffened. "She's really sensitive about that," James said before getting flattened by both Misty and Ranma. <><><> "What are you doing Izzy?" TK asked as he came up behind the genius. "Trying to find a way to contact the Digital World. Since we're nowhere near the computer at your former school, I'm trying to contact Jennai." "Hey, you have E-mail," TK pointed out. "Who is it?" Patamon asked, landing on TK's head. The screen widened to show a picture of Jennai waving an envelope. "Greetings from the Digital World!" "It's Jennai!" "I hope you get this message Izzy, because something big is brewing in the Digital World, and it's not Root Beer. Evil Digimon have been appearing in and out of the Gates of Reality like clockwork, threatening the stability of the barrier between the Digiworld and the Real world. I have a suspicion that the Dark Masters and several other Evil Digimon are back and causing trouble. I'm sending you all new Digivices but you need to find some way to repower them to full. New Tags as well to compliment your Crests. Upload the program." Izzy plugged his computer into the one on his desk and the system interfaced, uploading the program with ease. "There, done." "Now, press enter, and the new Digivices will be sent through." "Here goes." As Izzy pressed the enter button, eight streams of light shot from the computer screen. Two of them spun about and landed in TK and Izzy's hands, revealing smooth oval shaped Digivices with their respective Crests on them. As the other six disappeared into the air, another wave of energy shot from the computer, sending a beam that struck TK and Izzy's chests. They resolved into triangular arrowheads which glowed for a second, allowing the Crests of Knowledge and Hope resolve on their Arrowheads. The other six beams shot into the skies. "There is also a problem here in the Digiworld," Jennai said, taking up the slack from his explanation. "A long time ago, Eight Digidaggers were forged from Chrome Digizoid and were placed in Shrines. The Digidaggers will boost the new Digidestined's power to a higher level. The Digidaggers must not fall to evil hands. I have sent the Digidaggers to earth, so that one of the new Digidestined will find it. Good luck." With that, the recorded E-mail stopped. TK inspected his Digivice. It greatly resembled the ones the new kids had, with a flip up top and several buttons. It was wrist mountable as well as he found out, when he placed it on his wrist and two bands snapped into place, locking it on his wrist. "Cool. Now we don't have to worry about loosing it. And look, it's got a watch face as well!" Sure enough, in the flip up place, sat a chronometer and a numeric pad. "Prodigious," Izzy said, slipping back into his computer talk. <><><> "Mimi? Are you okay?" Mimi Tachikawa looked up from her perch on the rooftop of her penthouse. Sitting down next to her was her best friend, Gina. After living in New York for a while with her parents, she moved all the way across the States to Seattle with them for College. After several years, she had grown into a stunning beauty. Dressed in a pair of old jeans and a tight top, she had dyed her hair pink and had several ornamentations in them. "Yeah, just thinking Gina." Gina was a brain, blonde and an adventurer. They had met up when her dad, Dr. Diggers made a speech at her college. Gina gave one of her owlish blinks and asked, "You still mad about the prank? I swear, it was Britt's idea." Mimi giggled sadly. "I just miss Japan. Wish something would happen. I haven't heard from my friends in a long time." "Well they're what, twenty, twenty five, thirty while you're about two years older than them, AND an Olympic Diver! Girl, you need to relax a bit. Hey look, a pair of shooting stars! You don't see that every day." Mimi looked up in the sky and frowned. "They're moving rather slowly...they almost look like they're...oh my!" The shooting stars suddenly altered course as they dived towards the penthouse. Blazing around the pair of girls at supersonic speeds, one of them landed in Mimi's hands and the other slammed into her chest, making a certian Crest of Sencerity glow. As the glow faded, Mimi opened her eyes and looked at the Device in her hands and gasped. "A Digivice!" Gina looked over at it and blinked. "It's a WAY different model than yours," she said. "Look, it's wrist mountable." "How'd you know?" Mimi asked. "Put it on your wrist." She placed it on her wrist and it snapped together with a mechanical buzz. "Whoa, extreme!" Then, she checked her shirt and found the arrowhead with the Crest of Sincerity on it. "And a new Tag and Crest!" "This is what you've been waiting for Mimi," Gina said, placing a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Go on, I'll explain it to your folks. Your friends need you." "Right. Watch out Japan, Mimi's coming home!" <><><> Dr. Joe Kido, part time Doctor, part time Pokemon Watcher, snapped at his camera with astounding speed when a bright light spooked the Rhyhorn he was photographing, which, was, incidentally, pink. "What in the world?" he asked as the light spiraled towards him. Ducking instinctively, the light passed over his head and made a neat three sixty and spun back towards him. One of them snaked under his body and struck his chest, the other wormed its way into his interlaced fingers. Joe blinked and sat up, and reached under his shirt. There, he pulled out an arrowhead with the Crest of Reliability on it. "What in the world?" Lowering his hands, he found he held a strange Digivice that blinked for a second before the light died. "A Digivice? And a new Crest and Tag? What's going on here?" A strange impulse told him to head to Indigo Plateau as he stood up and called out his Fearrow. Looking upwards into the sky, he frowned as he mounted his Fearrow and took off. <><><> Jenette Fisher sat in her room as she contemplated her situation. Her mom would be proud since she had gotten to the fourth round but then again, she had watched Ash Ketchum defeat those freaky ghost Pokemon or whatever they were, and she saw the power that he exibited in that attack of his. "Bell? Sprout?" Jenette reached down and stroked her Bellsprout's head. Around her room, her Pokemon were all resting as she waited for the end festivities. "I'm alright Bellsprout," she said, "Just wished that I won the last battle." Jenette's Pokemon consisted of her now infamous Bellsprout, a Scyther, Ponyta, Beedrill and Machop. All were well trained and were catching some well deserved rest as she went to the window and opened it. "It's a beautiful night," she murmured to herself as the winds swept her hair back. "Oh, a falling star!" The star glowed brightly in the skies as it started to get even brighter. Suddenly, emitting a warm red glow, it fell to earth with a hearty thud, kicking up dust in the forest just behind the Trainer Apartments. "What was that?! A meteor?" Recalling her Pokemon, she quickly dressed into jeans and a t-shirt. Exiting the village quietly, as not to attract attention, she made her way through the forest towards the small clearing which mysteriously opened up for her. In the middle of it was a glowing red ball. "My goodness, what do you think it is Bellsprout?" "Bellsprout bell," he replied as he nudged her forwards. Walking to the edge of the small crater, she knelt down and reached.... <><><> "So we have to go back to the Digiworld? But the gates won't open easily." Tai leaned back and took a sip of his soda. "Tai's right," Agumon said, "it was hard enough for Jennai to send us to the Real World in the first place, but it's almost impossible to return!" "My calculations suggest a 1 to 100,000,000 chance that we can get into the Digiworld if we can recharge our new Digivices. We've all seen it, none of the Digimon can Digivolve anymore. However, Jennai said that he's sending something called the Digidaggers here." Izzy frowned as he tapped at his computer once again. "If only..." Suddenly, the computer flared with a light as Izzy jerked, dropping it on the floor. Then from the computer screen, two Digimon were ejected into the real world with an uncerimonious bump. "Palmon!" Sora said. "Gomamon!" Matt helped the Digimon up as he asked, "why are you two here?" "Jennai said that it was important," Palmon replied, brushing herself off. "That's right! Joe and Mimi'll need us soon!" A knock at the door suddenly brought them into reality as TK stood and opened the door. "Well speak of the devil," he said with a smirk. "Ask and ye shall recieve," Matt finished. "Joe! How have you been?" The man stepped into the room. He was wearing a light blue sweater and jeans with a backpack. The same glasses adorned his face, as his hair was long enough to tie into a ponytail. "Not bad," he replied. "I had a feeling to come here." "JOE!" Gomamon launched himself into Joe's arms. "It's so good to see you again!" "I missed you too buddy," he said. "Wow, you've grown Joe," Kari said. "Want something to drink?" Joe gratefully sank into a chair. "Pepsi." After Kari had fetched him the drink, he took a long drink and asked, "why are all you guys here? Something wrong in the Digiworld?" "You could say that," Sora said glumly. "Every Bad Digimon we've ever fought is back. From Devimon to Piedmon." "It could be worse," TK said helpfully and earned a sharp glare from everyone. "HOW could it be worse?" Tai grumped. "We could be dead!" Everyone facefaulted. "Besides the whole fiasco," Izzy said, "There's a chance that we may be able to charge the new Digivices." He raised his hand and there sat the Digivice that was strapped around his wrist. "So what? We just can't stick em into light sockets, can we?" Matt asked. "It's not that simple," Izzy replied. "It never is," Tai muttered. "What I'm trying to get at is that we need a huge source of raw Digi Energy to power the new Devices. That way, we can once again share energy to let the Digimon Digivolve." "Oh, I get it, like tapping an electrical grid!" Tentomon chimed in. "Exactly! But where can we find a source of raw Digi Energy?" "That's easy." Everyone turned to Kari as she grinned. "You're forgetting that Tai and Sora's son Ash had the ability to Digivolve Pikachu into a Pikamon! If we can tap the raw energy in him to charge our Digivices, then we're set!" "Not a bad idea Kari," Izzy said, already tapping into his computer. "Now I just have to find out how exactly." "If I may," came a new voice, "I think I know how." Everyone turned to the new speaker who's voice belonged to Wizardmon who was up and about. "I can act as a conduit to conduct the Digi Energy into the Digivices. It will take some time and at that point, Ash and I will be helpless for a while." "Which means no transforming." Tai's brow furrowed as he thought hard. "I say we go and ask Ash about this." "We'll all go." <><><> "Sir!" Lord Devimon slowly turned in his stone throne as he regarded the Bakamon who cowered before him. "What is it?" he asked in a tone of voice like he was pulled away from something important. "Sir, Demidevimon has returned." "Send him in." As the Bakamon bowed and scraped his way out, a charred and battered Demidevimon flew unsteadily into the room, coughing large clouds of smoke. Devimon regarded his brother like one would do a nusance and asked, "Well?" Demidevimon coughed and said, "I was attacked the minute I set foot on Mount Pheonix! I almost got to the Red Disc but a brat of a prince called Saffron attacked me!" "Saffron? The Phoenix Demi-god? This bears watching. Did you find the Red Disc?" Demidevimon nodded. "I did! It's hidden in the very depths of the cave! Along with the two magical staffs." "The staffs are of no concern to us Demidevimon. I will not punish you for not getting the Red Disc, no. This was a mere reconnaissance mission, gathering information. Leave me now." Demidevimon nodded and then added, "May I go and recharge?" Devimon sighed and nodded, dismissing him with a wave of his hand. The evil mini digimon cackled with glee as he transformed back into his Happosai guise and dashed out the door. Devimon folded his hands in a classic Gendo pose as he contemplated the situation. If the Phoenix people were holding possession of the Red Disc, then there was no way the blasted Digidestined could unleash the Phoenix. Even then, there were no more shrines that could unlock the Disc. "Etemon!" he called out. "What's up?" came the voice belonging to the monkey Digimon. Devimon cracked his knuckles gently. "I have decided on a course of action. Take Machinedramon with you and attack Japan." "But the Digikids are...." with a flash of insight, he grinned evilly. "I see! The Digidestined twerps are in Pokemon Island! They'll never be able to get here in time! Have any place in mind? Uh huh?" "Indeed." Devimon turned and a map of Tokyo appeared on a view screen. A blinking light surrounded one of the districts. "Nerima. The wierdness ratio is so high that we can destroy the neighborhood without any trouble." "Genius! Wish I thought of it before." Etemon rubbed his hands gleefully. "Any backup?" "I will send Tuskmon, Snimon and Mojamon. Two Monochromon will be sent as well. Now go, wreak havok." "The King has left the building! Uh huh, uh huh! Hey Machinedramon! Get your metal butt in gear!" <><><> "Are you ready?" Wizardmon asked Ash who was sitting on a chair in the middle of the room. The other Digidestined adults had already strapped on their new Digivices and held their wrists out, standing in a circle around the pair. Ash nodded. "Ready." "Careful Wizardmon," Misty said, concerned. Wizardmon placed his hands together and started to make a few symbols of power with his hands. Then, in a voice that rang with power, he called out, "Force hear my plight! RELEASE THE LIGHT!" With a blaze of silver energy, Ash glowed with shining energy as his raw energy was siphoned into Wizardmon, then, it was routed into the seven Digivices. As the energy was siphoned into the Digivices, a eighth energy beam lanced from Wizardmon into the night skies that rapidly disappeared. Just then, the other seven kids glowed for a second as subtle...changes took place as well. The adult's Digivices glowed with newfound power as the Digimon felt the power share seep into their beings, recharging them with newfound power. "Good work Wizardmon!" Ash slumped in his chair, exhausted from most of his power drained off as Misty and Brock helped him to a natural sitting position. "Are you okay Ash?" Misty asked. "Yeah, just a little tired," he replied. "Get some rest Ash," Brock recommended. "You'll need it." "Thanks." Ash slumped forwards, bringing Misty with him. Misty struggled under his weight. "Hey! Ash! Wake up!" She went as red as her hair as it took both Ranma and Brock to lift him off her. Tracy offered a hand and she took it, helping her up. "Wow, he sure weighs a lot," Misty commented. "He's been more healthy lately. Haven't you noticed that he has seemed to gain a growth spurt lately?" At Tracy's comment, Misty nodded. Ash, had started a rather quick growth spurt, bringing him almost two inches taller than Misty was. Then, casting glances around at the others, she found to her surprise, that everyone ELSE was growing. Brock was TALL! At least a head taller than everyone and the muscles on his body were getting defined, as with Ash, Tracy, James and Richie. Tracy was just a few inches shorter than Brock, his face starting to loose a bit of the youth that he still retained. Richie, on the other hand, was about as tall as Ash, but showing signs of stopping in a few more inches. James was taller, and seemed to be more muscular than normal. Ranma was getting taller and more defined in his build as he almost matched Brock. In fact, it seemed to her that they were all growing visibly. Turning to Izzy, she voiced her question; "Why are we all growing?" Izzy turned, looked at the teens and goggled. "Perhaps the powers are growing all of you to your fullest potential. Because your powers are routed through your bodies, then perhaps the powers are interacting with your bodies to the subatomic level. It's just a theory." Tai turned and checked his son with a small smile. "He'll be at least six feet plus!" "My little boy! All grown up at ten!" Sora smiled and cocked her head to the side. Then, she turned to Misty and blinked in surprise. "Misty! You look fabulous!" "Huh?" Turning to look in the full length mirror, she noticed herself for the first time. She gasped as she took in her reflection. From the slender young twelve year old, she was a stunning beauty, her clothes, stretched to the limit. It was a miracle the other boys hadn't gotten nosebleeds as her thin yellow t-shirt was barely holding her chest in place. The now tight jean shorts restrained her legs. She blushed deeply and crossed her arms over her chest. "I think... I need new clothes..." Tracy slapped a hand each over Brock and Richie's eyes and shut his own as well. "Come on, there's nothing to see here, move along people." "Been spending time in New York Tracy?" Ranma grinned as he dragged James from the room. Misty blushed even redder. Suddenly.... GLOMP "SWEETO!" "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! GETOFFAME!" Happosai dodged the punch which was delivered with surprising speed. The girl was full of energy, familiar but oh well. "Thanks for the recharge sweetie!" he chortled. Ranma skidded into the room and cracked his knuckles. "It's the old freak!" Happosai turned and sneered. "You wouldn't hit your master Ranma. I'm too much for you!" "We'll see about that! Mouko Takabisha..." "Ha! That trick won't work on me!" "REVISED! CHI STORM!" Ranma grew a huge ball of chi in a span of a second when it normally took him five, and used the Amaguriken to send a storm of Chi balls at Happosai. Caught unawares of the new technique and the speed of the delivery, Happosai was sent through the wall and into the courtyard. "That...that..." Happosai sat up, glowing angrily. "Aw, did the poor hentai get a boo boo?" Ranma mocked. "That HURT! HAPPO FIRE BURST!" A dozen of the bombs flew forwards, but were intercepted by several attacks. "Boom Bubble Pop!" "Blue Blaster!" "Pepper Breath!" "Super Shocker!" "Lightning Paw!" "Come Marching Fishes!" "Spiral Twister!" "Poison Ivy!" The attacks blew out, destroyed and knocked the bombs away as the Digimon stepped in front of Ranma who was ready to deal pain to the wrinkled old man. Happosai growled. "This is the last straw! TUSKMON!" >From the ground, a green lizard Digimon rose, razor sharp tusks on his head. "SNIMON!" The preying mantis Digimon flew over a house, waving his arms menacingly. Matt snickered. "This looks familiar." Happosai laughed maniacally as his body Poofed and became a small bowling ball Digimon. "Time to die Digibrats!" "Happosai's really Demidevimon!" Patamon exclaimed. "Are you guys ready?" Tai asked, his Digivice glowing with power. "We're all ready!" "Agumon digivolve to....Greymon!" "Gabumon digivolve to....Garurumon!" "Tentomon digivolve to....Kabuterrimon!" "Biyomon digivolve to....Birdramon!" "Gomamon digivolve to....Ikkakumon!" Demidevimon backed up and sweated. "Um...Tuskmon! Snimon! Attack!" Snimon and Tuskmon leapt forwards as Greymon, Garurumon and Ikkakumon leapt forwards and Kabuterrimon and Birdramon took to the air. Patamon, Palmon and Gatomon held back as Mimi wasn't there so Palmon couldn't do much except Poison Ivy, and the other two were just sheer overkill for two Ultimates. "Meteor Wing!" The attack impacted on Snimon who responded in kind with his own attack. "Twin sickle!" "How about a NOVA BLAST!" Greymon reared back and spat his flaming ball at Tuskmon who dodged the blast. The attack impacted on the road, twisting the pavement into a melted puddle. "That's sure going to upset the Pokemon League," Ranma commented as he dodged a few attacks from Demidevimon in the form of Chi beams. "Harpoon Torpedo!" "Electro Shocker!" Tuskmon caught the many torpedos full in the face as he was flung back into the road, creating a crater the size of a fountain. "That hurt," he muttered. Snimon joined him quickly afterwards in his own hole. Meanwhile, Demidevimon was being pounded mercilessly by Ranma as he held onto one of his wings, beating on his head. "Owowowow! How dare you treat your master so!" "You're not my master!" Ranma finished him off with a dropkick that sent the freak into orbit. As Demidevimon regained flight, he shouted, "Retreat! We'll be back!" Snimon and Tuskmon dragged themselves out of the holes and looked at the Digimon with newfound respect as they slunk into the shadows once again. "That was wierd," Tai said. The battle ended, the Champion Digimon then glowed and shrunk back into their Rookie forms. <><><> "Demidevimon, why did you call in Snimon and Tuskmon when they were supposed to go to Tokyo?" Demidevimon shuffled his talons. "Well...Ranma was beating me and..." "THAT'S ENOUGH!" Devimon roared. "If you continue to use our forces in personal fights, then I will be forced to strip you of the power that I have granted you!" Demidevimon paled and bowed before the fallen angel. "I'm sorry brother! I won't do it again!" The removal of the powers Happosai had gained would have meant that he would loose the ability to overpower enemies with Chi, no more special attacks, and worse! No more power from women's underwear! "Then go, leave me." Demidevimon bowed out and exited the room. Devimon then called to the darkness and asked, "Is all in readiness?" "All rearing to go, uh huh uh huh." Etemon walked out, grinning evily. "They won't even know what hit them," rumbled the other. "And what if the Digidestined come for you Etemon? You are not at full power as of yet while I have gained more power since I was the first to be destroyed." "I can go to Mega if I want to!" Etemon pulled out a small object that made all the evil Digimon grin. "Good. Now go!" <><><> "It's good to be back," Mimi said to herself, breathing in the air of Tokyo. The sun was just starting to rise in the east skies, pulled by Apollo's chariot. Mimi always had a fondness for Greek Mythology. Picking up her bags, she checked her Digivice that sat on her wrist. Flipping open the top, the device showed a detailed scan of the area, showing the most powerful energy signatures in the area. "Hmm... Nerima." "Taxi!" A taxi pulled up and she got in. "Where to?" he asked. "Nerima." The driver sniffed a bit. "Your business. I wouldn't go there normally. But then again, I can't refuse a pretty girl. What's your name?" "Mimi Tachikawa." The man started. "The Olympic Diver?! Wow. Why are you going to the Freak Zone?" "Business." Her tone meant finality to the discussion as the cab entered the small district. Nerima, by all standards, should be as congested as the rest of Tokyo. But then again, it had a lot of quarries, forests and open lots for the local pack of loony Martial Artists to train in insanely destructive techniques. That and the amount of time most buildings stood upright... (about two weeks), and Nerima had all rights to NOT be congested. The taxi weaved around the various trenches and potholes (which happened to be there without consulting the construction groups) until it pulled up to a school. "Here you go, Furinkian High. This is where you can find anything in Nerima if you go in any direction." "Thank you." She pulled out some money and offered it to him but he waved it off. "It's on me." Letting the pink haired woman out, he pulled away as she shouldered her bags. School was just getting in when she had pulled up as she consulted her Digivice. A fast moving blip was coming towards her and she blinked. Another was already in the building behind her. The dust cloud resolved into a girl with short hair, an angry expression on her face. Mimi turned and found the reason for the girl's anger: a horde of boys had appeared out of nowhere and was charging. "Akane! Date with me!" "We'll make beautiful music together!" "Feel the strikes of our love!" Mimi stepped aside as the girl tore into the teens like they were tissue paper and blinked. "Does she do this every day?" she asked a teen with brown hair. The girl she addressed was wearing a boys uniform and a spatula on her back. The girl shrugged. "Kuno brought the challenge back when Ranma Saotome left Nerima for Pokemon Island." "What challenge is that?" "Kuno said that 'anyone who wishes to date Akane', the girl, 'will have to beat her in battle.' I think its crazy...HEY! You're Mimi Tachikawa, the Olympic Diver, aren't you!" Mimi blushed and nodded. "And you are..." "Oh, I'm Ukyou Kounji! I'm your biggest fan! Can I have your autograph?" Mimi giggled and whipped out her pen. "Where do you want me to sign?" Ukyou turned around and presented the Spatula. "On the blade of my Spatula." Mimi bent over and wrote "To Ukyou, my biggest fan. Love Mimi Tachikawa." The woman smiled and recapped her pen. Ukyou looked at her spatula and hugged it tightly. "Thank you!" Suddenly, Mimi's Digivice went off as a low rumble was heard from down the street. Snapping her head up, her eyes narrowed as a dust cloud was seen. Then, two bolts of energy shot forwards and exploded in the midst of the still standing horde of hentai. "Oh no!" she exclaimed. Akane and Kuno looked up at the pair who was stomping towards the High School. One of them laughed, sunlight glinting off his sunglasses. "Time to rumble! Uh huh huh huh!" The other merely waited, the sun glinting off his metallic hide. Mimi gasped. "Machinedramon! Etemon!" "Well if it isn't the little Princess," Etemon sneered. "Having fun girl?" "We'll see who's having fun!" "STOP!" Bellowed a voice. Everyone turned to see Kuno standing, bokken held aloft. "You demons will not enter this sacred ground of learning, not while I, Tatewaki Kuno, the Blue Thunder of Furinkian High, the Leader of the prestigious Kendo Club, age 17 still stands!" A clap of thunder accompanied his proclamation as students milled in the windows. "What's that?" "A monkey?" "And the others a metal T-rex?" "Is Kuno actually going to fight it?" "He's crazy!" "Or stupid." Mimi turned and shouted, "Get out of here! Everyone, run! They're too much for you!" "I'm a Martial Artist!" Proclaimed Akane. "I can handle myself!" Machinedramon was not impressed at both of the arrogant teens as he aimed. "Giga Cannon." Kuno was blasted into the building, creating a large hole that went clear through to the other side while Akane barely dodged the other attack. Etemon turned and grinned. "Time to die Digitwerp!" He held up the device and proclaimed, "Etemon Dark Digivolve to..." A flash of light and a howling of laughter proclaimed the arrival of.. "METALETEMON!" "This is so bad!" Mimi said, backing up. "Palmon....where are you?!" <><><> Will the Dark Masters Destroy Nerima?
