The Big List of Anime Sims Stuff is a directory of user-made anime content for the computer game "The Sims". The main section of the 'Big List' is the list of anime (and some game) skins. There are also sections for unidentified skins, NPCs, Unleashed pet skins, original anime-style skins, clothes with anime characters on them, and clothes for multiple anime characters; plus sections that contain links to sites with objects, walls, and floors.

The People Behind the Scenes

Alys is the one who put together the list of skins, and is the owner of this site. She is the one who finds new sites and who keeps track of what sites have updated and which have moved. And when she's not doing that, she also makes skins and paintings for Anime Sims Central.

Joy is the webmistress for the Big List. She is also the owner of Spirit World Sims, and is a skinner and object maker for Sims1.

Sith Jester (Sithy chan) is the translator for the Big List. She is also the owner of Happy Simz, and is a skinner and object maker for Sims1.

History of The Big List

The Big List is loosely based on a list of anime skins that was located at Blue Nuku's Sim Site, simply called 'The List'. After Blue Nuku's site had been down for some time, several members of the Comic Skin Network decided it would be nice if someone made a new, updated version of Blue Nuku's List. Alys volunteered. ^_^

Version 1 of the Big List: (the purple version) So Alys made a list of skins. And it was good. It was also Very Big (much bigger than anyone was expecting). Hence the name. ^_^

Version 2 of the Big List: (this one) The list that started out as big kept growing, and Alys and Joy thought of some new sections they would like to have (like NPCs and original anime-style skins) but the site design of Version 1 was rather inflexible and hard to add new sections to. Joy was also learning some new website-y stuff that she thought could be used to make a cooler, easier-to-find-stuff-on website (specifically, php and MySql). So here you are. ^_^
