I have a new domain name - www.spiritworldfiles.com. My older one has been taken over by cyber squatters >.<

After being unable to connect to the internet for four days (my phone line went down), I made a couple of wallpapers out of sheer boredom. *laughs* So today I bring you two wallpapers for First Live, a game by Amedeo. I've never played it and have only a hazy idea of what it's about, but the pictures are lovely. ^_^ The background for the two pics started out life as a fabric swatch, and the pictures in the corners are from a brush set (jenni047_henna).

Two updates in one day! Whatever is the world coming too. ^_~

There's another Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne wallpaper for your viewing pleasure - this one is of Fin Fish and Access Time, the two mascot angels for Jeanne and Sinbad. They are my favorite couple from KKJ (might have something to do with Access being my favorite character LOL). It's hard finding pictures of Fin Fish and Access though. This one took me quite a while to figure out what to do for the background, since the two of them have such different coloring. I wound up using a Haibane Renmei image for the background - oddly appropriate, since Haibane Renmei has to do with angels too.

A Valentines Day wallpaper today, from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I made it for a Tanemura Arina contest. Tanemura Arina is the mangaka for KKJ, among other things. Her artwork is very pretty.

I've been needing to make a new layout for this site, so I've been putting off updating. This isn't the new layout, though it is a little different than it was before - I needed to get a bunch of wallpapers up. I also took down the YYH wallpaper links page - I don't have time to keep it up-to-date.

Since it's been so long since I updated, there's a bunch of new wallpapers (23 to be exact). There are four new Inuyasha wallpapers, two DNAngel wallpapers, four new Miscellaneous wallpapers, three new Yu Yu Hakusho wallpapers, plus one each for Hunter x Hunter, Ja Dou, Ai Yori Aoshi, Hellsing, Fruits Basket, F.O.X, Wish, Ronin Warriors, Marmalade Boy, and Vampire Princess Miyu. Of the ones I'm putting up today, the most recent ones are the ones that have 1152x864 as the largest resolution - I got a new monitor. *big grin*

Two new wallpapers today - one is from Inuyasha, which you can find in the new Inuyasha section - and one is of an unknown girl. I don't know who she is, or what she's from. ^^;;; You can find that wallpaper in the Miscellaneous section.

A Yu Yu Hakusho wallpaper today - it's of Youko Kurama. I realized it's been a while since I've made a yyh wall, so I made one ^^ Did you know Paint Shop Pro can export files in Photoshop format? I just noticed that - LOL. I started this wallpaper in PSP, then switched to Photoshop 'cause I wanted to play with some brushes I downloaded a while ago.

I updated the YYH Wallpaper Links page with several new links. ^^

3 new wallpapers of mine, 3 guest wallpapers, and the last 'update' finally got uploaded onto my server instead of just sitting on my hard drive. ^_^;;;; Keonia's 3 wallpapers are all Hiei wallpapers, and are in her section. My new wallpapers are: Xellos from Slayers, in the misc. section; Griffith from Berserk, in the brand new Berserk section; and a Clamp Campus Dectives one in the brand new CCD section.

New & (hopefully) improved layout. I've gone for the 'simple is better' approach this time, helped along by my improved HTML skills. ^_^ Semi-new name: I translated 'Reikai' into English (Spirit World) and dropped the 'Files'. Reikai Wallpaper Files = Spirit World Wallpaper ^_^

In other news, I found where I got the images I used in the YYH Suzaku wallpaper I posted last update - Michelle Nolan's cel gallery. Even better, she gave me permission to use the images AND she has one of the wallpaper sites with YYH wallpapers that I lost the link to, so I've updated the YYH Wallpaper link page. ^___^

Cel galleries have lots of large, wallpaper-quality images in them, just begging to be made into wallpapers. ^__^

Of course, I should probably ask permission before I use cel images, but... err... I forgot which images came from which galleries. ^_^;;;;

I have four new wallpapers for you today: Two from Vampire Princess Miyu, one from Fushigi Yuugi and one from Yuu Yuu Hakusho.

The background of the Miyu & Larva VPM wallpaper is from the top of a Larva image that I've seen many times - but the top has always been cut off! As soon as I saw the a copy that included the top I thought "Wow! This is so pretty! It would make a neat wallpaper background! I just need to find the perfect foreground image. ^_^" The foreground image is from a cel.

The other VPM wallpaper is a Larva wallpaper. I've wanted to make one of those for a while now, but always ran into a 'lack suitable images' problem. But there are plenty of Larva cels! He's so sugoi... *dreamy look*. The background and foreground images are from two different cels, which may or may not be from the same gallery.

The FY wallpaper is a Nyan Nyan wallpaper, made from (you guessed it) a cel image. The cute little black & white Nyan Nyan in the corner is from Amber's Nyan Nyan shrine.

The YYH wallpaper is made from two cels from the same cel gallery (I don't remember which one). Again, it's a case of a character I like that there aren't many images floating around of... Suzaku. One nice thing about YYH is that quite a few of the bad guys are good looking! ^_^
